Located in the South China Sea, Hainan draws large crowds of tourists each year. Famous for its natural beauty, Hainan has been dubbed the “Oriental Hawaii” by visitors smitten by the splendour of the land. The name Hainan literally translates to “South of the Sea” and this gem of a destination is the smallest province in the People’s Republic of China. It is no wonder then that Hainan manages to keep its exclusive beauty to itself.
With a guided and experienced tour, you will be assured of a safe and educational travel experience and covers some of the most well-known tourist spots in Hainan such as the Asian Charm Park, Fragrant Water Bay, Dandonghai Beach Scenic Area, Yalongwan Bay and Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park.
Itinerary for each day is as follow:
Day 1: Singapore/ Haikou
- Transfer from Haikou Meilan Airport and stay at Haikou Xingyuan Hotspring Hotel (or similar)
- Enjoy free and easy day in Haikou City
Day 2: Haikou/ Qionghai/ Xinglong (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
- After breakfast at the hotel, visit The Five Officials Temple
- Head towards the city of Qionghai, along the Wanquan River, and arrive at the BoAo Water City
- Visit the nearby BoAa conference site, and you may opt for a cruise ride along the Yudaitan (Jade Beach Belt) for an additional amount
- Proceed to the Asian Charm Park to witness the exclusive Asian architecture or have a cup of the popular local coffee
- You will be staying at Xinglong Treasure Island Hotel (or similar)
Day 3: Xinglong/ Sanya (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
- Enjoy the amazing scenery of Fragrant Water Bay and be mesmerized by the mangrove forest along the beach and the Niuling Ridge which is shrouded by the clouds
- Visit the local Li and Miao Village and witness old women covered in tattoos on their faces and legs; an ancient custom for the Li people living in Hainan
- Next, the tour will bring you to Dadonghai Beach Scenic Area which is right next to the free tea performance and health care centre
- Spend the night at Sanya Jingwei Seaview Hotel (or similar)
Day 4: Sanya (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
- After breakfast at the hotel and head to the Yalongwan Bay, which boasts a world-famous pristine beach
- Enjoy the scenic view of the palm tree-lined Seafront Avenue and the “Crown of Beauty”, which hosted the Miss World Contest, and the view of the statue to the Deer Looking Back Park
- Visit the Dijia Crystal World visit followed by the Buddhism Cultural Park (for an additional payment) and pay your respects to the 108-metre tall Statue of Nanhai Guanyin Buddha
- End the day with a visit to the nearby silk shops
Day 5: Sanya (Breakfast/ Lunch)
- After breakfast, return to Haikou to visit the area for local food specialties on the way to the airport for the flight back to Singapore
