1. What is the BDO Rewards Program?
BDO Rewards is the bankwide loyalty program that rewards members with shopping
points for qualified bank transactions, such as deposits, loans and electronic bills
payment. For more information on BDO Rewards, you may visit
www.bdo.com.ph/rewards.
2. When will I start earning points under the BDO Rewards Program?
Beginning January 1, 2012, your qualified credit card transactions will earn points
under the BDO Rewards Program.
You will also receive, in January, a BDO Rewards Welcome Kit which holds your BDO
Rewards Card and all the information you need to know about the program. You need
to present the BDO Rewards Card to redeem your points.
If you are an existing BDO Rewards member, you will no longer be sent a new BDO
Rewards Card. The points you earned from your credit card transactions will be
automatically credited to your existing BDO Rewards Card number.
3. Will my supplementary account/s earn points under the BDO Rewards Program?
Both principal and supplementary account/s will earn points under the BDO Rewards
Program. However, only the principal cardholder will be issued a BDO Rewards Card.
The combined points of the principal and supplementary account/s earned from
qualified credit card transactions will be reflected in the principal’s credit card
monthly billing statement and will be automatically credited to the BDO Rewards Card
issued to the principal cardholder.
4. What will happen to my existing credit card points?
Your existing points may be used to redeem rewards selections from the current BDO
Credit Card Rewards Catalogue. Choose from a wide array of rewards items, gift
certificates, donations, annual fee waivers and push points options.
If you are an existing BDO Rewards member, you may opt to push your existing credit
card points to your BDO Rewards Card by redeeming BDO Rewards points through
the Push Points Option.
5. How will I earn rewards points from my credit card transactions under the
BDO Rewards Program?

Your qualified credit card transactions shall earn one (1) Rewards point for every
Php200/US$4 charged to your BDO Credit Card.
Qualified credit card transactions are retail transactions, mail order/telephone order
transactions, EasyPAY Installment transactions (In-store installment, EasyTRANSFER,
EasyPAY Cash and Cash-It-Easy), service merchants (gasoline stations, drugstores
and supermarkets), Autocharge, Charge on Demand, Balance Convert and EasyPAY
Convert transactions.
6. How do I know how much points I’ve earned from my credit card transactions?
The points you earned from your qualified credit card transactions beginning January
1, 2012, will be automatically credited to your BDO Rewards Card every month on
your cycle date. A summary of the points that you’ve earned and which have been
credited to your BDO Rewards Card will be reflected on your monthly credit card
billing statement beginning January 2012.
7. How do I know how much points I have in my BDO Rewards Card?
Earned BDO Rewards points may be inquired through any of the following:
a) Cashiers at any SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, and select SM Retail
Affiliates such as Ace Hardware, Toy Kingdom and Watsons.
b) Via SMS hotline 2966. Registration to the SMS service is required. To register,
text REG<space>16-digit card number<space>4-digit PIN.

1-800-10-702-7888 (outside Metro Manila)
8. What is the value of a point and how will I redeem my points?
One point is equal to Php1.00. Members may redeem points to pay for purchases at
any SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket and other SM retail
establishments. Members must redeem at least Php50.00 per transaction and BDO
Rewards card must be activated to enable redemption. There is no redemption fee to
be paid.
9. Will the BDO Rewards Card expire?
The Sapphire and Diamond cards expire after one (1) year and the expiry date is
printed on the card. This provides for efficient management of program tier
upgrading and downgrading and avoids abuse or misuse of perks and privileges. The
card will be renewed automatically and there is no renewal fee.
The Emerald card does not have an expiry date and members may continue to use
the card until he is upgraded to the next membership level.
Points expire five (5) years from the day they were credited to the BDO Rewards
Card.

Can kabayan savings debut card can apply this reward program? How? The BDO sent me a message that there will have promo of debit card so paano ako makasali?

Hi,
I have Emerald issued on 2011 and confirmed that it’s still accumulating point as per SM Dept store.
It was last used in 2014, when I tried to use it now.
It’s no longer working
